Why does a ChromeOS screen cost more than an Android one?

The player for ChromeOS has its own commercial licence, and it costs more than the Android one. This licence includes it, at the same price as the Samsung and LG licence.

Is anything else needed on ChromeOS?

Yes. Google requires its own Kiosk & Signage Upgrade on each ChromeOS device, about 25€ per device per year. You buy it from Google or a reseller, not from us.

Does the account's included licence cover a ChromeOS screen?

No. The licence that comes with the 49€ account covers one Windows or Android screen. A ChromeOS screen needs this licence.

Does it expire or need renewing?

No. It is a one-time purchase with no expiry date and no renewal invoice, and software updates are included for as long as you use it.
