A pizzeria’s menu is a grid more than a list: every pizza in two or three sizes, a dozen toppings that go on any of them, and offers that run one evening a week. That is what a printed board or a menu video handles worst, and what easyCMS is built around. You set the pizzas, sizes and toppings once in Studio, and a price you change on your phone is on the screens a moment later.
Every picture on this page is a real screenshot of an easyCMS template, playing a sample pizzeria menu.
Ready-made sets
The Pizzeria wall set is the three screens at the top of this page: the pizza menu, the spotlight and the deal. Pizza and toppings puts the photo cards beside the toppings. Full menu wall is four screens: pizza, pasta, desserts and drinks.
Running the menu from your phone
All the boards read one menu, kept in Studio under Menu & prices. Change the price of a margherita there and it changes on the list, the photo cards and the spotlight at once.
Sizes
30 and 40 cm, small, medium and family, or a slice and a whole pizza: each size with its own price, shown on one line.
Toppings
A part of the menu like any other, so the toppings wall, and any board you put them on, always show your current list and price.
Sold out
One tap and a pizza or a topping shows “Sold out” on the boards, until you switch it back.
Labels
Vegetarian, vegan, spicy, gluten free, new and house special, as small symbols beside the name.
Allergens
The 14 allergens of EU law stored with each dish, for whoever takes the order. They are not shown on the boards.
Import
Give Studio a photo of your current menu, a PDF or an Excel file under Import. It reads the pizzas, sizes and prices and lets you check them before saving.
More than one pizzeria
One account runs every screen in every shop. Keep one menu for all of them, or a menu per shop when prices differ between a town centre and a suburb. The boards in each shop read the menu you point them at.
What you need in the shop
Screens. 43 to 55 inches above the counter. A menu board is on all day, so a professional screen made for long hours is the safe choice; a consumer TV works if you switch it off at night. If the screen hangs near the oven, check its operating temperature in the specifications (often up to 40 °C) and keep it out of the hot air.
Each screen also needs something to play on:
The easyCMS Android player
The easyCMS Android player, 499€, arrives ready to plug in, with a display licence included.
An Android box you already have
An Android box or Android TV: type myeasycms.com/apk in its browser to install the player (how).
A Windows PC
A Windows PC connected to the screen runs the easyCMS player, and the player itself is free.
A Samsung or LG professional screen
Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) professional screens run the player themselves, with no box at all.
What it costs
Three screens above the counter
| Line | Cost |
|---|---|
| easyCMS account, up to 5 screens, includes 1 licence | 49€ once |
| 2 × extra licence at 66€, in the same order | 132€ once |
| Software total | 181€ once |
Licences cost 66€ each in the same order as the account, 99€ each added later. The pizzeria templates, the menu, the toppings, the import and the sets are all included.
Compared with the other ways
| Year 1 | After 5 years | |
|---|---|---|
| easyCMS, 3 screens | 181€ | 181€ |
| A signage subscription at 10 USD per screen per month | 360 USD | 1,800 USD |
| A designer’s menu image or video, 30 to 170 USD per screen | 90 to 510 USD | the same again for every menu change |
10 USD a month is about the middle of the per-screen prices in our Digital Signage Pricing Index, checked on the vendors’ own pages in October 2026. The designer prices are freelance offers for pizzeria menu boards listed on Comeup in October 2026: about 29 USD for a static image of one screen, up to about 170 USD for an animated video with effects.
Screens and players come on top in every case.
What easyCMS will not do
No link to your till
Prices are set in Studio. An online order or a sale at the till does not change the boards.
No orders or payments
The screens show your menu and your offers. Nobody can order or pay from the screen itself.
No design from scratch
You start from the templates and change the photos, colours and texts yourself. An expert hour is 25€ if you want someone to do it with you.
Questions pizzerias ask
Can each pizza show two or three sizes?
Yes. Give a pizza as many sizes as you sell, each with its price. The boards show them on one line under the name, and the photo cards under the photo.
Can I show the lunch menu only at lunchtime?
Yes. Each design on a screen can play always, at set dates and times, or on a repeat: the lunch board from 11:30 to 14:30 on weekdays and the evening menu after that, for example. The screen switches by itself.
Can I use photos of my own pizzas?
Yes, from your phone’s camera or your computer, one per pizza. The photo cards, the spotlight and today’s pizza use it. Until you have yours, Studio has stock photos.
What if the internet goes down?
The screens keep playing the last menu they received and pick up your changes when the connection is back.
Is the gluten-free label checked by anyone?
No. A label shows on the board when you set it. It is your statement, so set it only when the pizza really is.
