Why does a Samsung or LG screen cost more than an Android one?
The player software that runs inside Samsung Tizen and LG webOS screens has its own commercial licence, and it costs about three times the Android one. This licence includes it, so the price covers what the screen really needs.
Does the account's included licence cover a Samsung or LG screen?
No. The licence that comes with the 49€ account covers one Windows, Android or ChromeOS screen. A Samsung Tizen or LG webOS screen needs this licence.
I connected a Samsung or LG screen before this licence existed. What now?
Open Plan & licences in Studio. Screens connected before checkout asked which player you use can get their player licence at our cost, 79€ instead of 129€.
Does it expire or need renewing?
No. It is a one-time purchase with no expiry date and no renewal invoice, and software updates are included for as long as you use it.
