Gold and Currency: Gold and Silver Prices per Gram
For jewellers and gold buyers that also change money: gold by carat and silver 999, priced per gram in your currency, beside the main currencies.

What it shows
- Gold at 24, 22, 18 and 14 carat, and silver 999, each per gram (or per 10 or 100 grams)
- Your buy and sell price for each, with your own margin
- The currencies you exchange, in the same table
Where the prices come from
The automatic prices start from the official gold and silver prices per troy ounce that central banks publish (XAU and XAG, through the same reference service as the currencies), converted to grams and to the purity of each carat. Your buy and sell margins go on top: 3% each way by default, which you change per metal. Prefer to set the price yourself? Lock it, and it stays exactly as you typed it.
The official prices are daily fixings, not the live market. If you reprice gold during the day, lock the prices and update them yourself.
What you can change
- Which carats appear, and the order
- Grams per row (1 g, 10 g, 100 g) and the number of decimals
- A dark gold palette by default, or your own colours
